CalcJar is a free, growing library of online calculators and utility tools. Every tool is built to be fast, accurate, and easy to use — right in your browser, with no signup, no downloads, and no data collection.

Why We Built CalcJar

Everyday decisions — figuring out your take-home pay, understanding how much house you can afford, calculating a tip, or tracking your calorie goals — shouldn't require a spreadsheet or a professional consultation. CalcJar exists to make those calculations instant, transparent, and free for everyone.

We got tired of calculator sites cluttered with ads, paywalls, and signup prompts for tools that should be one click away. So we built the site we wanted to use ourselves: clean, fast, and honest about how it works.

Accuracy & Methodology

Every calculator is built from primary sources: IRS publications for tax brackets, clinical formulas like Mifflin-St Jeor for calorie calculations, and the standard 28/36 debt-to-income rule for mortgage affordability. We keep our data up to date and clearly note the assumptions behind each tool.

All calculations run locally in your browser. Results are estimates intended to inform decisions — they should not be used as substitutes for professional financial, medical, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for important decisions.

Privacy by Design
